Writing
Since an early age I have been both a consumer and creator of the written word. To me writing is akin to breathing. Not a day passes where I do not long to put pen to paper or type a thought or idea on my computer.
My key inspirations and influences come from my observations of the world around me and the talented works of fellow writers such as Judy Blume, Terry Pratchett and Christopher Moore.
I have completed five fiction novels which fall into the Young Adult genre that Judy Blume writes for. I have always used my writing to capture the truth of life, even if the characters I use are a product of my imagination. My Young Adult pieces aim to look at the utter mayhem that the teenage years bring and how our experiences shape the people we will become.
Recently I have endeavoured to enter the world of non-fiction. My non-fiction writing is currently limited to a single piece which is an autobiographical account of my experiences with anxiety and depression through the relationship I have with my psychologist. I am hoping to incorporate my artwork into the piece as well, creating a graphic novel type book.
My novels are yet to be published but once they are I will have them available for purchase through this site. In the mean time, if you'd like to read some of my writing, you can visit my blog!
